About Me
Hello! Welcome to Penguins Childminding. I am Marie and I live with my husband, two grown up sons and our two cats, Blingo and Boo. We have lived in Carlton for over 20 years.
My vision is to provide a caring and nurturing environment, where children feel safe, confident and excited to explore the world around them.
I have a new bespoke playroom leading straight into our lovely garden.
Being a mum I provide a calm and positive manner in a home from home environment. Children thrive in a daily routine, which includes meal-times, rest-times, planned activities aligned with EYFS, free play and daily fresh air. Regular visits to the local parks, soft play and playgroups is a must!
I hold a full UK driving licence but love to walk when I can. I have my certificates all up to date and personal references.

My Experience
My Early Years experience is over 30 years working in a variety of settings/roles, including Nursery Manager. I provided a daily routine which is important for children's development. Activities I planned were based on the EYFS and Every Child Matters. The activities were often changed by the children which was exciting to see their ideas evolve.
As a mum I provide my sons with freshly prepared meals, which the children can help prepare. Such as home-made pizza, bread making and cakes. I enjoy teaching children a variety of festivals and have celebrated these in the nursery.

- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
