About Me
My name is Nat and I am a warm, caring and nurturing childminder based in Ferndown. I live with my husband, 2 daughters and 2 friendly kittens.
As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to find childcare that suits your family, and I aim to provide a supportive and trustworthy service that gives you peace of mind. I am passionate about providing a safe, calm and fun environment where children can learn, grow and feel happy and safe.
My setting is based in our new garden cabin. We have a secure garden for outdoor play, as well as access to a nearby heathland and a local playpark, giving children plenty of opportunities to explore, be active and enjoy the outdoors. I love to incorporate outdoor learning and helping children build confidence through nature and play.
My Experience
I have 7 years experience working in a school setting as a Teaching Assistant, including supporting children with special educational needs. This has given me valuable skills in understanding different learning styles, behaviour support and creating an inclusive, supportive environment for all children. During this time, I ran an art and craft after-school club for children, encouraging creativity, imagination and confidence through engaging and creative activities.
I am also Forest School trained, which allows me to incorporate outdoor learning and nature-based activities into my setting.
In addition to my professional experience, I am a proud Auntie to 2, and Godparent to 4 children.
I am patient, organised and genuinely love working with children. I aim to create a happy and positive environment where children can thrive.

I am open Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 5.30pm all year round.
I have spaces available from September 2026.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
I accept Early Years Funding from 9 months - 4 years
