Hi Parents, My name is Tahmina
I am a British Bangladeshi mother of four lovely children, aged 18, 17, 16, and 11. Raising my own children has given me valuable experience in providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children can grow and thrive.
Alongside being a parent, I have over four years of professional experience as a nanny and babysitter, caring for children of different ages. I enjoy planning fun and engaging activities, preparing meals, and supporting children’s daily routines while always putting their safety and wellbeing first.

My Experience
I’m currently working with two families
With the first family, I’m an after-school nanny for a lovely 2 year old and a 5 year old. My responsibilities include collecting them from school, preparing snacks, taking them to the park or other activities, and keeping them engaged with fun, age-appropriate activities until their parents return home.
With the second family, I care for a very special 7 year old boy with mild autism. My role involves taking him out to activities, encouraging him to interact and build friendships with children his age, supporting his speech and communication, and helping him learn strategies to stay calm and regulate his emotions when he feels overwhelmed.
previously i worked for a private family for 3 years. caring for their wonderful 2 years old. My role was to help him with his daily routine by engaging him in age-appropriate play, reading stories, and preparing and feeding meals. I ensured his personal care needs were met, including nappy changes, bathing, and dressing.
I supported his sleep routine by settling him for a nap and maintained a clean, safe, and organised play environment. I also prepared meals and followed good hygiene practices at all times. I also spent time helping to encourage his speech and communication through play and everyday activities
I also have four children of my own, so I have plenty of personal experience caring for children from birth through to 18 years old. Three of my children are close in age, so I’m very familiar with managing busy and sometimes chaotic situations. This has helped me become calm, patient, organised, and confident in handling a wide range of children’s needs.
