About Me
I’m a very hands-on and devoted mum, and Teddy and I have a really close bond. It’s always been just Teddy and I, in his day-to-day care, routines and development, so this is a big step for both of us. I can be quite protective and naturally a little anxious about leaving him, especially as he hasn’t really spent time away from me before, but I know how important it is for him to grow in confidence and independence.
Good communication is really important to me. I’d really appreciate regular updates, particularly while he’s settling in, as it would give me reassurance and help me feel confident that he’s happy and comfortable.
I’m really hoping to build a positive, trusting relationship with the right childminder, where we can work together to support Teddy’s development.
My Requirements
Teddy is 2 years and 5 months old. He’s a very loving little boy but is extremely attached to me, as he hasn’t really spent much time away from me before. Because of this, he may need a gentle and gradual settling-in period with plenty of reassurance.
He can be a little shy at first and takes time to build trust. Teddy also has a slight stammer, so he sometimes needs extra patience and time to express himself. He’s always on the go and very active, so he thrives when he’s busy and stimulated with activities and play.
We’re looking for someone calm, kind and patient who can support his confidence, keep him engaged, and help him feel secure.
