My Requirements

This September, we are looking for an exceptional nanny who would like to grow with our family.

Our son is 8 months old, happy, curious and easy-going, with a good routine. Until now, he has been cared for entirely by his parents and grandparents, so we are looking for someone warm, playful, energetic and perceptive who can become another trusted person in his little world.

The role is based in our central Cambridge home, 3–5 days a week, approximately 8–4 or 9–5. We work from home and his grandparents remain involved, so there is flexibility around the right person.

We care much more about character, judgement and energy than the perfect CV. We would love someone who enjoys getting outside, playing, reading, exploring and noticing what interests a child. Teaching or professional childcare qualifications are a bonus. A driving licence is essential.

We hope to find someone who will grow with our family over the next five years and beyond, caring for our son and future siblings. As our family grows, the role can grow too, with increasing responsibility, salary, professional training, travel and other opportunities.

We are interviewing on 2, 3 and 4 September at our home in central Cambridge, with paid trials available shortly afterwards.
