Hi, I’m a friendly, caring and reliable childcare professional with a real passion for supporting children to feel safe, happy and confident. I currently work in a nursery and hold my Level 2 Childcare qualification, and I’m working towards my Level 3 Early Years qualification.
I’m Advanced DBS checked and registered on the DBS Update Service, so parents can feel fully reassured about their child’s safety.
As well as my professional training, I’m also a mum to my 18-month-old daughter, which has given me even more patience, understanding and a nurturing approach to childcare. I know how important it is to leave your child with someone you trust, and I always aim to provide a calm, fun and caring environment where little ones feel comfortable and well looked after.
I’m dependable, organised and love helping children learn through play, creativity and routine.
My Experience
I currently work in a nursery setting where I care for children across different age groups, including babies and toddlers. My role involves supporting children’s learning and development through play-based activities, following the EYFS framework, and helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
I have experience with daily routines such as feeding, nappy changes, toileting, sleep times, outdoor play and supporting children’s social and emotional development. I regularly plan activities that encourage creativity, communication and confidence.
I also have experience supporting children with additional and special educational needs, adapting activities and care to meet each child’s individual needs.
Alongside my professional experience, I am a mum to an 18-month-old, which has given me valuable hands-on experience with babies and toddlers and strengthened my patience, organisation and understanding of children’s needs.
