My Requirements

We are looking for an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for our 14-week-old baby boy in a long-term, part-time role (16 hours/week, 4 days per week, 4 hours per day).

Our baby is currently 3 months old, so we’re particularly keen to find someone confident with young babies who can support sleep routines, naps, and early developmental milestones.

The Role
• Daily care of our baby
• Supporting and maintaining a consistent sleep routine
• Engaging in age-appropriate developmental play and activities
• Occasional bottle feeding (baby is primarily breastfed)
• Baby laundry
• Light housekeeping related to the baby (and small additional tasks if time allows)
• Comfortable around a friendly pet cat

Mum will be home until October, so this will initially be a shared-care role. From October onward, the position may transition into sole charge when mum returns to work.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:
• Has prior experience with young babies (newborn experience preferred)
• Holds an up-to-date First Aid certificate (essential)
• Has a valid DBS check (or is willing to obtain one)
• Is calm, attentive, and confident supporting sleep routines
• Is reliable, professional, and communicates well
• Portuguese speaking would be a lovely bonus (but not essential)

We’re hoping to find someone looking for a long-term position who can build a consistent and caring relationship with our son as he grows.
