My Experience

I have many years of experience teaching and supporting children in maths.
Before moving to the UK, I worked as a maths teacher for several years. Since coming to the UK I have continued working in education.
I have worked in Manchester and Bolton colleges supporting students with maths, and later worked in a special school in Edinburgh supporting pupils with additional needs.
I now work in a primary school in Edinburgh, helping pupils in P5, P6 and P7 improve their maths through class support and one-to-one sessions.
This experience has helped me understand how different children learn and how to explain maths in simple ways.

My Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree – University of Tehran (UK ENIC comparable to UK Bachelor’s degree)

• NCFE Level 3 Award in Education and Training

.GCSE Grade9

• Functional Skills Qualification – English Level 2

• Safeguarding Children Certification

• DBS / PVG checked

• Many years of experience teaching maths

My Availability

I am available after school on weekdays from around 4:00 pm, and I also have flexibility at weekends.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £30.00 per hour

Primary maths and homework help: £30 per hour.
Secondary maths (S1–S4): £35 per hour.
