About Me
I am a father to a lively 18-month-old, and my partner and I divide our time between West Sussex, London and periods overseas due to work commitments. Family is very important to us.
My elderly mother lives independently near Arundel/Petworth in West Sussex and we are keen to ensure she has the right support locally to help her remain comfortable, safe and well at home.
My Requirements
We are seeking a kind, reliable and proactive individual to support my mother in her home. The role would involve helping with general household chores, cleaning and tidying, preparing simple, nutritious meals, and—just as importantly—providing companionship.
Support would be needed primarily in the evenings and at weekends, helping to ensure she feels comfortable, well cared for and not alone during those times. We are looking for someone warm and engaging who will take pride in maintaining a pleasant home environment while also offering friendly conversation and reassurance.
We are looking to build a team of a minimum of two people who can between them cover the evenings and weekends and provide cover for holidays etc. Hours are negotiable.
