About Me
We’re a family of four living just outside Cirencester with a toddler and a baby. We try to keep a calm and organized home and value warmth, common sense and consistency in how our children are cared for.
Both parents work full-time and travel frequently, so we’re looking for someone experienced and dependable who feels confident operating independently, managing routines and becoming part of family life for a few weeks.
We’re friendly, fair and communicative, and reliability is very important to us.
My Requirements
Babysitting Jobs
We’re currently looking for short-term childcare support (around 3–4 weeks) while our nanny is off sick. There may be the possibility of ongoing work for the right person, but our immediate need is urgent cover.
We’re looking for core hours around 8am–6pm. Some flexibility for the occasional slightly later finish to help with dinner and bedtime would be helpful. Very occasional overnight support would be a bonus but isn’t essential.
We have a 2-year-old who attends nursery part-time and a 9-month-old who is home full-time, so much of the day will focus on the baby.
We’re looking for someone confident with babies and happy managing naps, feeding, outings and age-appropriate play. The role includes preparing simple meals for the children, keeping play areas organized, managing the children’s laundry and maintaining consistent routines. We’re not looking for heavy housework, but we do expect someone who helps keep things running smoothly day to day.
Reliability, punctuality and a proactive approach are very important to us. We’re looking for someone calm and capable who can take initiative and manage the day independently.
We live just outside Cirencester, so a driver is essential.
