About Me

We are a friendly family based in Fleet looking for a kind, reliable and patient nanny or babysitter to support our 4-year-old son two afternoons per week after school.

Hours:2 days per week (flexible on days)Approximately 2:45pm – 5:30/6:00pmPotential for additional hours in school holidays if interested.

Our little boy, is 4 years old, autistic and non-verbal, with an EHCP. He is a bright, affectionate and playful little boy who responds best to calm, gentle and play-based interaction. He enjoys sensory play, familiar routines and a low-pressure environment after school.

Role responsibilities:• School pick-up (local) After-school care at home Play-based engagement and support Supporting communication and transitions Personal care (including nappies) Providing a calm and nurturing environment

Ideal candidate: Experience with autism/SEND (highly desirable) Patient, calm and understanding approach Comfortable supporting a non-verbal child DBS checked (or willing to obtain) First aid trained (preferred) Reliable and trustworthy

We are particularly interested in someone with a background in childcare, SEND support, play therapy, psychology, or similar child development experience.

This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys working with children with additional needs and is looking for a consistent, rewarding part-time position with a supportive family.
