Hello, I’m a registered childminder based in Christchurch with over 25 years of experience caring for children of all ages.
I live with my 13-year-old son, and have 2 grown up children. Childminding has been a huge part of our family life for many years. I truly love what I do and feel very privileged to play a part in helping children grow, learn and develop in their early years.
I provide a warm, nurturing home-from-home environment where children feel safe, secure and valued. I work with small groups, which means each child receives plenty of individual attention and care tailored to their needs and interests.
My Experience
I have over 25 years’ experience in childminding. I am experienced in caring for newborns and have a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
My Qualifications
I hold an NVQ 3 in Early years care and education
Paediatric first aid
Level 3 in safeguarding
Level 3 food and hygiene
Plus numerous other short courses
My Availability
I have 2 full time vacancies for children aged 0 - 8 years
Monday to Thursday 8.00 am - 6.00 pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I accept the 30 hours early education funding, and am registered for tax free childcare
I charge £6.00 per hour and am open 48 weeks a year

Jenna is a kind, thoughtful childminder who has made our daughter feel very comfortable with her and we have been with Jenna for over a year now.
Jenna provides a range of fun activities from crafts, going out to the farm and visiting toddler groups.
She has 2 dogs and 2 rabbits which our daughter absolutely loves and has helped her grow confidence being around animals.
Jenna is attentive to our daughter's needs and will listen to any specific requests we may have which helps with us with keeping consistency with home life.
Jenna is flexible, understanding and our daughter loves spending time with her.

Jenna has taken care of both my children. My little boy is 9 now so a while ago! But my little girl is 3 and has just left to start her preschool journey.
Both children loved going to Jennas house! She provides a home from home and each child is made to feel loved and secure. Jenna provides care for small groups which means each child gets the attention and cuddles they need.
Its hard to explain but Jenna just makes you feel at home and comfortable almost like your taking your child to a friends house!
Jenna is also really good at taking the children out to play groups so both my children were well socialised and therefore struggled less with starting preschool.
I also love the activities Jenna does, Sophia always loved showing me whatever they made that day!
I cant recommend Jenna enough! I felt so confident knowing my daughter would be with her!

I cannot recommend Jenna highly enough as a childminder.
She has cared for my daughter for over two years, during which time my daughter had complex medical needs.
From the very beginning, Jenna gave me complete confidence that she was fully capable of supporting my daughter and meeting her needs safely and appropriately at all times.
Thanks to the secure, nurturing, and happy environment Jenna provides, my daughter has never experienced separation anxiety. She is made to feel like part of the family and is cared for with the utmost professionalism, warmth, and kindness.
Jenna consistently demonstrates an excellent balance of genuine care and high professional standards.
Jenna plans and delivers fun, educational, and engaging activities that are thoughtfully tailored to each child’s age, stage of development, and individual interests.
It is clear how much effort and consideration she puts into ensuring the children are stimulated, supported, and encouraged to thrive.
I would highly recommend Jenna to anyone looking for childcare. She provides a safe, supportive, and enriching environment, and I am incredibly grateful for the care she has given my daughter.
