I am a calm, nurturing and reliable person who genuinely loves working with children. I enjoy creating a happy, structured home environment where children feel safe, valued and encouraged to explore the world around them. I particularly love supporting early development through play, baking, outdoor adventures and helping little ones build confidence as they grow.
I am a Level 3 qualified childcare professional with over 20 years’ experience, including 5 years in a nursery setting and 16+ years as a live-out nanny. I have cared for children from newborn through to teenage years, both in sole charge and nanny share roles. I am currently looking for a new role and my next family to join.
My Experience
I have experience working with children from ages 2 days old to 16 years old.
I have been a nanny since 2009 and before that I worked in a children's day nursery for 5 years.

Cache Level 3 - Diploma in Childcare and Education - January 2006
Paediatric First Aid Certificate
My Availability
I am avaliable for a full time 5 day a week roll with full days. Over a week I need to cover a minimum of 45 hours.

My Fees
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
With my 20 years Experiance my pay is a minimum of £20 Gross per hour depending on hours and days. But happy to negotiate

Gemma has looked after my two boys (now aged 7 and 10) for over six years.
During this time, she has cared for them regularly both during the daytime and in the evenings. She has always been someone I can completely trust and rely on, and I have always felt confident leaving the boys in her care.
She has built a lovely relationship with both of our boys and genuinely cares about them. Over the years, she has looked after them at different ages and stages and has always been patient, caring and attentive to their individual needs. The boys are always happy and excited to see her, which says a lot about the relationship they have with her!
She is responsible, sensible and dependable, and I have always felt completely at ease knowing she is looking after them. She communicates well with me, is punctual and has always been willing to help when needed.
After more than six years, she has become someone we consider a very important and trusted part of my family's lives. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her to another family.
