About Me
Hi there,
I am a working single mother with 1 child in need of a little helping hand.
My son is 8 (Nearly 9) and is very outdoorsy and arty. There is very little that he doesnt enjoy doing. He knows his own mind but is a little timid before you get to know him well.
We are going through a large upheaval at the moment and there are lots of things changing. I am going back to work full time within the next few months and so we are looking for a patient additional pair of hands to help with him.
My Requirements
He is at school mon-fri,
Monday 8:30-4:20 (Football after school)
Tuesday 8:30-5 (Karate after school)
Wed-Fri 8:30-3:20
I would be looking to have someone pick him up from school, take him to the park next door to the school (Weather permitting) until 4/4:30, Walk him home (9 minutes), Do homework with him (twice a week) and then an activity/puzzles or board games until 6. (Help him tidy his room instead on Fridays, We insist he does this with minimal help).
On days when it is bad weather he also loves lego, building and painting above all else, we have a large dining room table so you can really spread out with the activities.
I would ask that by 6 the table is clear and activities packed away and I should be home and putting on dinner by that time.
I would also like someone who is open to once or twice a month to enjoy an afternoon and evening (Including bedtime) with him on either a Friday or Saturday.
He will not require any bathing or feeding at all as I will be home for this every day. He is an independent boy who can do practically everything himself but does need a little reminder sometimes for things like flushing the toilet or tidying up after himself.
