My Experience

I am an official Girlguiding Leader for Rainbows and Brownies, where I work regularly with children aged 4–10. In this role, I plan and deliver structured activities, including crafts, games, badge work, and team-building activities. I also take the girls on day trips and weekend trips, where I am responsible for a group of children. I ensure meetings run safely and smoothly while creating a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children.

I have experience managing groups of children with different personalities and needs, supporting their confidence, independence, and social skills. I communicate regularly with parents and other leaders to ensure children’s wellbeing and safety at all times.

Through this role, I have developed strong skills in behaviour management, organisation, safeguarding, and leadership. I am confident handling responsibility, following safety procedures, and maintaining a calm and positive approach. I am DBS checked and have completed first aid training, making me qualified to provide first aid.

My Qualifications

I have completed my A Levels and am currently studying at Swansea University. Although I do not hold a formal childcare qualification, I am an official Girlguiding Leader and have completed mandatory safeguarding and child protection training. I am DBS checked and first aid trained. My leadership role has provided me with extensive practical experience working with children in a safe and structured environment.

My Availability

My availability reflects my university timetable. I am available most weekends and selected weekday evenings and afternoons. I am happy to discuss flexibility where needed.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

£10-£14 per hour for one child. Additional small charge for multiple children. Happy to discuss rates for regular bookings.
