My Experience

I have over nine years of experience in primary education, working both full and part-time across a range of year groups. Following my decision to leave full-time teaching to support my own children, I continued working with children through tutoring, intervention programmes, and charitable organisations.

My experience includes providing private tuition for children in care, delivering targeted support to pupils who have fallen behind academically, and leading wellbeing groups focused on emotional resilience, confidence, and personal development. I have also worked within charities promoting intergenerational relationships, creating meaningful connections between young children and care home residents.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about supporting each child as an individual, helping them to grow in confidence, develop their skills, and reach their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with over nine years of classroom experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with children of varying ages, abilities, and needs, supporting both their academic progress and emotional wellbeing. My teaching background has equipped me with strong skills in communication, safeguarding, behaviour management, and creating engaging learning experiences tailored to each child.

My Availability

I am currently available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays during school hours. From September 2026, when my youngest daughter starts secondary school, my availability will increase and I will be able to offer greater flexibility with my working hours. I am always happy to discuss individual family requirements and find an arrangement that works well for everyone.
