Martin, Amy and baby Ada live in Chippenham around 5 mins walk from the station.
Unfortunately, both of Martin's parents have passed, as has Amy's Dad. Ada's remaining grandmother is not really well enough to help as much as she would like to.
In addition, Martin is disabled and suffers with ME/CFS which can severely limit the amount of input he can give on a fairly unpredictable basis and means, when able to work, he has to be very careful with his energy.
My Requirements
We are looking for a nanny to help us with our 10 month old daughter, Ada.
Primarily on a shared care basis, with Amy and/or Martin present in the house (though possibly working or doing other tasks), with some occasional sole care once we have got to know each other and built up a working relationship.
Ideally we would be looking for approx. 18-20 hours/week, on a schedule along the lines of:
Mon 07:30/08:00 to 15:30/16:00 (flexible on day)
Tues 07:30/08:00 to 13:00
Wed 07:30/08:00 to 13:00
Ada has activities both Tue and Wed afternoons, so help on those mornings would be really good as getting out of the house can be hectic, especially if Martin is working or is unwell.
Monday is intended to allow some time for us to catch up on general tasks, particularly things that would require one or both of us to leave for a few hours, and to allow us a little bit of time for ourselves.
We can be flexible on which day for the full day, ideally a Monday, but Thurs or Fri could also be made to work (so I have ticked all 3 days on the chart).
We want to hire a self employed or agency nanny who is OFSTED registered and has an Enhanced DBS Check, as well as appropriate qualifications and experience.
