My Requirements

We are looking for a nanny to care for our lovely little boy aged 5 (turning 6 in October), with occasional care for his younger brother who turns 1 in July. Our 5 year old is amazing - funny, chatty, exceptionally bright and a huge show off, but he also can be very demanding, so we need someone kind, caring and patient! This is a sole charge role, ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting children with additional needs (he has autism and can be very inflexible and ADHD so he is constantly on the go).

HOURS

Either Monday to Friday afternoons (four or five afternoons needed, 2.30pm to 6pm)
Or - two full days, 8am to 6pm (which would include care for a 1 year old during the day)
Ideally with two full days per week over holiday periods

DUTIES
The role involves being at home ready for our son to return from school at approximately 3pm and caring for him until 6pm. Our son enjoys bouncing on the trampoline and building things (and causing havoc) as much as he enjoys drawing and role playing and creative games, so someone who is equally comfortable with both while also able to prepare and serve dinner would be ideal.

START DATE
We have some flexibility, but we can start immediately and ideally before August so you can develop a relationship before school starts.
