About Me
Hi, I’m one of the founders of Happy Mondays, a new parent-first coworking and playlab concept designed for families with young children. We’re currently in the pilot phase and are looking to connect with experienced early years professionals who share our values around warmth, safety, child-centred care and professionalism.
Our aim is to create a calm, thoughtful environment where parents can work nearby while their children take part in supervised, play-based sessions. We’d love to hear from practitioners who are passionate about early years and open to pilot session work, with potential for future opportunities as we grow.
My Requirements
We are looking for an experienced early years professional to support short, structured, play-based sessions for children aged 0–4.
We’re particularly interested in someone who is:
- Warm, nurturing and naturally engaging with young children
- Calm, reliable and professional
- Confident supporting babies, toddlers and preschool-age children
- Knowledgeable about safeguarding, hygiene and child safety
- Able to help create a safe, welcoming and well-organised environment
- Comfortable communicating clearly and reassuringly with parents
A relevant childcare qualification is preferred, and an enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid training would be highly desirable.
This is for pilot-style sessions within a parent-first concept, with parents remaining on site nearby rather than leaving the premises. We’re looking to connect with someone who would enjoy being part of something thoughtful and meaningful from an early stage.
