About Me
I am a dedicated and passionate Early years Educator. I promote learning through a play pedagogy, inspiring curiosity and imagination in children, in a nurturing home from home environment which is safe, welcoming and where children are free to be themselves.
With my extensive experience and knowledge as an Early years educator, alongside the invaluable experience of being a mother to three children, I am excited to offer my own childcare service. I understand firsthand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
My aim is to support busy families by offering high quality, reliable care, where parents feel reassured knowing their little ones are in capable hands.
I will offer a safe homely environment inspired by the Hygge approach, I have a fully equipped playroom and large fully enclosed garden space ready for many more adventures.
My setting is known as Blossom & Bloom childminding and is located just a short drive outside of St Andrews.
My Experience
I have been a qualified and practicing Early Years Educator for over 15 years, achieving degree level (BA in childhood practice) in 2020.
I continually uphold and further develop my skills, most recently under taking training as a Bookbug session leader and a whole family sleep advisor.
I am skilled in observational techniques and recording children’s learning, understanding how to take the next steps in a children’s learning journey by having a deep understanding of children’s development.

My Availability
I am a new business so I have full availability for my first cohort of children, however I do have limited spaces to offer to families so please get in touch quickly if you are interested.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Full day £62
Half day £35
Fees include Meals and Nappies/wipes.
