My Experience
I have extensive experience supporting children and young people across education, wellbeing and community settings. As an English Language Teacher, I worked with students aged 3–18, planning engaging lessons, adapting to different learning styles and supporting those with additional needs or low confidence.
In addition, I provided one-to-one and one-to-two private tutoring for children aged 3–8, delivering engaging, age-appropriate sessions that supported early literacy, language development and confidence.
I have also worked in primary school settings as a Teaching Assistant and Volunteer Reader, supporting classroom learning, assisting with activities, and working individually with children to strengthen reading fluency, confidence, and self-belief.
Alongside my classroom experience, I have held pastoral and wellbeing-focused roles, providing person-centred support to individuals facing emotional, social and practical challenges. These roles strengthened my safeguarding awareness, record-keeping and communication skills, as well as my ability to remain calm, patient and empathetic. I am confident in building trusting relationships with both young people and families.
Beyond my professional experience, I genuinely enjoy spending time with young children, including my two young nieces. I value creating fun, nurturing and stimulating environments where children feel safe, heard and encouraged to explore their personalities and interests. I bring warmth, patience and positive energy into childcare settings, alongside a strong sense of responsibility and reliability.

Professional Training for Working with Young People – including empathetic communication, engaging young learners, safeguarding, creating accessible and inclusive activities, and supporting emotional wellbeing.
Level 5 TEFL Certificate – trained in teaching young learners, classroom management, and clear communication.
300-hour Accredited Yoga Teacher Training – developing skills in safe, inclusive teaching, mindfulness, and age-appropriate activities.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
