About Me
Hi! I'm Gemma, a Primary PGCE student from the Ottery St Mary area. I am a confident, friendly, and educated 25-year-old with a lots of experience working with children and in creating a warm, fun, and safe environment for them to flourish! I am looking for a part-time babysitting job, however, I can also offer tutoring/homework help.
My Experience
I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Developmental Psychology, alongside work experience in various child-centred settings including:
• Teaching placements in KS1 and KS2
• After-school club for autistic children
• Counsellor, swim instructor, and lifeguard at an American summer camp
• Teaching assistant at both deaf and hospital schools
I am confident, friendly, and eager to get involved, trained in behaviour management whilst maintaining a relaxed and fun environment. I am DBS-checked and also fluent in British Sign Language.
