About Me
I'm a 42 year old solo mum to a 4 year old boy called Bodie. Bodie grew up in Manchester and we moved to York 18 months ago. Bodie likes water play, gardening, playing with sand, bugs, sticks, mud etc. He likes building, playing hide and seek, balloons, balls and wind up cars. Bodie is autistic which generally expresses itself as rigid behaviour and difficulty in regulating his emotions sometimes. He also has a Pathological Demand Avoidant profile and shows many traits of ADHD. His meltdowns can be intense. He is generally a smiley cheery chatty boy who likes his independence and anyone who will play on his terms. His superpower is maths and numbers :)
My Requirements
I'm looking for someone to play with Bodie for 2-3 hours each weekend, sometimes more so I can consider a gym menbership! Longer term I'll also be looking for someone to look after Bodie during school holidays whilst I'm at work and potentially look after him on occasional evenings.
