About Me
Hello! I’m Emily (Milly), an almost qualified primary school teacher offering part-time childcare in the evenings. I’m DBS checked and bring a calm, creative approach to working with children. During the day, I teach in a local school as part of a placement term, so I’m available after school hours to support families who need a helping hand.
I also hold a diploma in Musical Theatre, which means I can offer fun singing and acting sessions either alongside care or just as one to one lessons - perfect for building confidence and creativity. Whether it’s helping with homework, bedtime routines, or imaginative play, I aim to create a safe, joyful space where children feel supported and seen.
My Experience
I have a wide range of teaching and creative experience that helps me support children of all ages. I’ve taught Reception, Year 3, and Year 6, giving me a strong understanding of early development as well as the needs of older primary pupils. Alongside classroom teaching, I’ve also taught private one?to?one singing lessons, helping children grow in confidence and creativity. I trained at the Oxford School of Drama and spent three years studying Primary Education at the University of Winchester, which has given me a strong foundation in child development, learning, and the arts.

My Availability
I am free during the evenings between 6pm - 9pm either for childcare or for private tutoring in Musical Theatre or any other curriculum subject. I am happy to cater days of the week to when is needed!
