My Experience

I am an experienced childcare professional with a strong background in both private nannying and educational settings, supporting children aged 4 months to 17 years.
Most recently, I worked as a professional nanny in the United States, where I provided high-quality, sole-charge care for multiple families. I was entrusted with full-time responsibility for a two-year-old, as well as a busy household of four children aged 2, 4, 6, and 11. In this role, I created structured daily routines, planned engaging developmental activities, supported early language development and potty training, assisted with homework, prepared nutritious meals, and maintained a safe, clean, and stimulating home environment. Working internationally strengthened my adaptability, professionalism, and ability to integrate seamlessly into different family dynamics and cultural environments.
Prior to my nanny role in the USA, I progressed from Assistant Teacher to Lead Teacher, supporting children and young people aged 4–17. I led classrooms, supported individual learning needs, managed behaviour positively, and ensured safeguarding standards were upheld at all times.
In addition, I have significant experience supporting children and individuals with additional needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, I worked 1:1 and in small groups implementing EHCPs and IEPs, adapting learning materials, and supporting emotional and behavioural development. My background as a Support Worker and Mental Health Support Worker further developed my ability to provide person-centred care, manage medication responsibly, and promote independence while maintaining dignity and safety.

My Qualifications

I am First Aid and CPR certified, with up-to-date training that enables me to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations. My certification ensures I am confident in managing accidents, administering basic life support, and prioritising child safety at all times.
Alongside my formal certifications, I have extensive practical training in safeguarding and child protection, gained through my roles in education, SEN support, and childcare settings. I am experienced in following safeguarding procedures, recognising signs of concern, and maintaining clear, professional communication with parents and relevant professionals.
My experience also includes medication administration, personal care, behaviour management, and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). This provides me with a strong understanding of child development, additional needs support, and creating structured, nurturing environments tailored to each child.
I combine formal certification with hands-on professional experience, allowing me to deliver safe, attentive, and development-focused care in both home and educational settings.
