My Experience

I have experience supporting and caring for children of varying ages, including both personal experience as a parent and professional one-to-one support. In my previous role, I worked closely with a child with additional needs, assisting with daily routines such as feeding, personal care, mobility support and engagement in classroom activities. I am confident in creating a safe, structured and nurturing environment that supports children’s wellbeing and development. I demonstrate strong communication skills, patience and reliability, and I am committed to building positive relationships with both children and their families

My Qualifications

While I do not currently hold formal childcare qualifications, I bring valuable hands-on experience as a parent, giving me a strong understanding of children’s daily needs, routines and development and also my son has allergies (with EpiPen) so I am aware of allergies and reactions etc. In addition, I have supported a pupil with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a classroom setting, where I provided one-to-one support with personal care, mobility and learning activities. This experience has helped me develop patience, adaptability and a nurturing approach, along with the ability to create a safe and supportive environment for children.

My Availability

I am available everyday when my son is at school. I am available some evenings if planned as I can arrange care for my son or if the family is happy to have their children around my son they can come to our home or theirs. I am available on weekends if planned.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour

My fees are reasonable and vary depending on hours, number of children and the level of support required. I am happy to discuss individual requirements and agree a rate that works for both sides.
