About Me

Hello! I’m Amelia, a caring, reliable and creative childcare professional with a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and over two years of hands-on experience working with children from babies through to preschool age.

Supporting children’s development during their early years is something I’m truly passionate about. I love creating engaging, imaginative activities that encourage learning through play — whether that’s messy play, baking, outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, or cosy story time. My background has also given me a strong understanding of child development, routines, safeguarding and creating safe, nurturing environments where children feel secure and valued.

I would describe myself as warm, bubbly and calm under pressure. I understand how important trust is when welcoming someone into your home, and I pride myself on building strong, open relationships with both children and parents. Communication is very important to me — I like families to feel fully involved and reassured about their child’s day.

As someone who has worked full-time in early years settings, I am confident managing routines, supporting behaviour positively, encouraging independence, and adapting to each child’s individual needs and personality. I also love getting outdoors, exploring nature, and planning activities that spark curiosity and confidence.

My goal as a nanny is to become a positive, consistent presence in your child’s life — someone who supports not only their development but also their happiness and emotional wellbeing.
