Once my own children were settled at school, I cared for a little boy from 3 months to 1 year old one day per week from my home, giving me hands-on experience with babies — from feeding and naps to early development and routines. I currently work as an assistant at West Leigh Infant School, which has strengthened my knowledge of early years development, safeguarding and supporting children within a structured environment. I run a warm, organised home where kindness, consistency and clear boundaries are important, and I’m confident managing busy schedules, play-based learning, homework support and emotional wellbeing.
