My Experience

I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience teaching across Key Stage 2, including Year 4 and Year 5 class teaching roles, as well as working in Year 3 and Year 6 as a cover teacher. Alongside my classroom experience, I currently tutor children in both KS1 and KS2, supporting a range of needs from building early reading and phonics skills to developing confidence in maths and writing. This combination of classroom teaching and personalised tutoring allows me to quickly identify gaps, adapt learning to suit each child, and provide targeted support that helps children make real progress.

My Qualifications

I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with a PGCE in Primary Education (5–11) and a 2:1 Law (LLB) degree, which developed my communication and problem-solving skills. I have also completed a Certificate in Primary Computing with a subject specialism and leadership focus, reflecting my commitment to high-quality teaching and ongoing professional development. My qualifications support my ability to deliver engaging, effective sessions that build both academic skills and confidence.

My Availability

I offer flexible tutoring sessions before school, after school, and at weekends to fit around family schedules. I understand how busy school life can be, so I aim to provide convenient times that work for both children and parents, with sessions available during term time and, where possible, school holidays. My tutoring fee is £40 per hour. Sessions are personalised to your child’s needs and include preparation, tailored resources, and feedback where helpful, ensuring you receive high-quality support and value for your investment. I also offer a free introductory session so we can meet, discuss your child’s needs, and make sure I am a good fit for your family before committing to ongoing lessons.
