About Me

I am a primary teacher at a prep school in Oxfordshire and a mum to two young children, so I understand both the academic and practical challenges families face. I am passionate about building children’s confidence and enjoyment of learning, and I take a warm, encouraging approach to tutoring. My sessions are tailored to each child, often incorporating their interests - whether that’s football-themed maths or hands-on resources like LEGO - to keep them engaged and motivated.

My Experience

Since completing my Primary PGCE, I have been teaching for over 12 years, with extensive experience in Years 2, 3 and 4. I have held additional responsibilities including Head of Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator. Alongside classroom teaching, I have tutored pupils from EYFS to Year 10 across both the state and independent sectors, including preparation for 11+, CATs, verbal and non-verbal reasoning. I also have recent experience supporting children with SEN, working alongside Educational Psychologists following diagnoses such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD and ASD to ensure tailored and effective support.

Primary PGCE , Cardiff Metropolitan University

My Availability

I am available during school holidays and half term breaks, primarily on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but other days could be an option.

My Fees

  • Tutoring from £40.00 per hour

£40 per hour if online. If face to face at the student's home, time travelling/fuel will also need to be included depending on location.
