Lottie
Nanny in Stockbridge (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
I am a kind, patient, and reliable individual seeking a full-time nanny position. I enjoy spending time outdoors and love planning creative arts and crafts activities. With interests in skiing and drawing, I bring energy, creativity, and a positive attitude to childcare, creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for children to thrive.
My Experience
I have four years of babysitting experience, providing care for children of various ages and managing responsibilities such as meal preparation, bedtime routines, homework support, and planning engaging activities. Over the past six months, I have worked as a ski instructor with children aged 18 months to 12 years, delivering structured lessons while ensuring safety and building confidence in a dynamic outdoor environment. This role has strengthened my ability to manage different age groups simultaneously, adapt activities to suit individual developmental stages, and maintain clear communication with parents regarding progress and wellbeing.
My Qualifications
My qualifications include an Enhanced DBS check. This confirms my suitability to work with children and demonstrates that I meet safeguarding requirements for childcare roles. I also hold Level 1 and Level 2 CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance) qualifications. These internationally recognised certifications involve formal training in teaching techniques, child development, risk assessment, and on-slope safety. Achieving these levels demonstrates strong communication skills, the ability to deliver structured lessons, maintain high safety standards, and adapt instruction to different ages and abilities.
My Availability
I am available to start from late April and can offer full weekday availability, covering mornings through to evenings. I am able to provide consistent, reliable care Monday to Friday and can be flexible with hours to meet a family’s routine and childcare needs.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
With four years of babysitting experience and recent structured work as a ski instructor supporting children of various ages, a reasonable hourly rate would be in the region of £15–£18 per hour. This reflects both hands-on childcare experience and additional qualifications, while remaining appropriate for the local area. The exact rate may vary depending on responsibilities and number of children.
