About Me

I am a working father living in Rugeley with shared care of my 9-year-old son. I work regular night shifts and am looking for reliable, long-term childcare support during part of the week.
My son is a bright, polite and independent child who attends Oakham Primary School in Oldbury. He has an established routine and does well with structure.
I am looking for someone responsible, calm and trustworthy who can provide consistent overnight supervision and assist with the morning school run on agreed days.
This would suit someone experienced, organised and comfortable working independently in a quiet household environment.

I require overnight childcare on Wednesday and Thursday nights (care starting approximately 2:00am and continuing through the morning routine).
Duties would include:
• Being present in the home overnight
• Ensuring my son is supervised and safe
• Morning routine support (wake-up, breakfast, preparation for school)
There may also be a requirement for school drop-off to Oakham Primary School in Oldbury (approximately 25 miles from Rugeley). However, this will depend on the outcome of a school transport application currently under review with the local authority.
If transport is approved, the role would be overnight supervision and morning preparation only. If not, the school run would form part of the agreed arrangement.
This is a regular, fixed arrangement for two mornings per week only.
A driver with their own car and appropriate insurance for school transport is preferred. DBS check and references required.
This is intended to be a stable, ongoing arrangement.
