My Summary

My Experience

I grew up with three younger siblings who are now ages 9, 12, and 13, whom I was responsible for babysitting, when necessary, since they were little. However, being an older sister to them has been the most valuable experience, seeing and understanding children’s need for love and safety in all stages of their childhood. I continued pouring into other children through volunteering at age 10 at my church's crèche alongside adult caregivers, and at my primary school I helped the teachers care for the younger years. And now I'm officially volunteering at my church's youth group. Devoting my time to providing safe and loving environments for children of all ages has always been rewarding and something that I love doing and take seriously. Alongside my relevant experience, I also believe that working in an engineering trades apprenticeship at Babcock International for 16 months has made me a more reliable and responsible person that prioritizes health and safety at work and at home.

My Qualifications

Although I don't have any direct childcare qualifications, I do believe the Scottish higher qualifications that I got during high school taught me many skills and values that make me the responsible and reliable person I am today. My higher qualifications in maths, English, art, music, and physics allow me to provide fun, creative, and educational activities so that your children are still learning and growing at home without it feeling like school, as well as being able to provide homework help in those areas should this be something you are interested in. I also have my full driver’s license and my own car. In terms of the safety of your children, I am currently in the process of a PVG application. My Availability

I currently have a flexible schedule and can do daytime and evening babysitting from Monday to Thursday and on Fridays I can do morning to late afternoon. This does not include overnight babysitting. On rare occasions I may be able to help with weekend babysitting if so I will communicate this ahead of time.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour

My hourly rate is £11.00 for one child with a small additional charge for more children. I am flexible and happy to discuss arrangements to suit your family’s needs.
