About Me
I am a nurturing and caring individual who gives my whole heart to the children I look after. Over the years, I’ve left little pieces of my heart with many families — and I still have plenty more to give. I am reliable, creative and loving, and I take great pride in building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents.
Originally trained as a graphic designer, I bring a strong creative flair to my childcare roles. I love planning engaging art and craft activities and am well known for my cardboard creations and imaginative junk-modelling projects. I also enjoy sharing music (I play the guitar), dancing and drama with children, and recently completed a Puppetry Foundation course purely for fun and to expand my creative skills.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, going for walks and birdwatching — interests I love incorporating into outdoor adventures with children whenever possible.
My Experience
I have seven years of experience working in nursery settings, where I progressed through a variety of roles, from Nursery Nurse Assistant to Room Manager. Following this, I transitioned into private childcare as a nanny for two families. In both positions, I cared for children from approximately 10–11 months old through to four years of age. In my most recent role, I also supported the family’s two older sons with after-school care and responsibilities.
