About Me

Hi, I’m Amelie Baghomian. I’m an 18-year-old student with several years of childcare experience. I began babysitting between the ages of 14 and 17 for multiple families, caring for children of different ages and managing everything from after-school routines and homework help to meal preparation and bedtime. These experiences taught me how to stay calm, organised, and responsible while ensuring children feel safe, supported, and engaged.

Alongside babysitting, I also spent two years as a teaching assistant on a placement with Year 1 and Year 2 children. In this role, I supported classroom activities, helped children with reading and writing, assisted with behaviour management, and created a positive, encouraging environment for learning. This experience strengthened my understanding of children’s development, patience, and communication skills.

I’m friendly, reliable, and genuinely enjoy working with children. I always aim to create a warm, fun, and safe atmosphere while supporting both the child’s needs and the family’s routines. I would love the opportunity to bring my skills, energy, and experience to a new babysitting role.
