Twin Mum Looking For Part Time Nanny
About Me
We’re a busy but very loving family based in the Royston area, with twin boys who arrived a little early and are now 6 months old and doing brilliantly.
We also have Olive, our dog (working spaniel), who is very much part of the family. She loves being involved in whatever is going on. So being comfortable around dogs is important for us.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a nanny to support us 2 days per week for an initial 5 hours per day in the afternoons Monday and Tuesday roughly 1:30 - 6:30 each day to cover weaning, bath and bed time.
Although not fixed hours would be great to understand your evening flexibility on Friday and Saturday and if you are comfortable looking after twins and staying to cover some baby sitting hours to allow my husband and I to go out for dinner occasionally.
We'll soon be weaning so experience with this is a key requirement to help us navigate the early stages. As weaning progresses we may look to increase hours depending on the boys eating times.
We have a very structured day with everything documented in Huckleberry to help us track their routines. They currently nap around 45 - 1.5hours 4 x per day. During nap time we would like support with light house duties e.g. bottle prep, post feed cleaning etc. Mum will often take Olive out during these naps and needs cover in the house for when the boys wake up.
We are big on creating gentle structure and consistency. We’re not rigid, but we do value routine as it helps everyone feel calmer and more settled, especially the boys.
We’d love someone who genuinely enjoys working with babies and understands early development to stay with us as they develop.
Experience with newborns and ideally twins or multiples would be a huge plus.
