About Me
Hello, I am Hayley :) I am in the pre-registration phase of the Ofsted journey and looking to see if I can help families. I am hoping to be open in September 2026 and taking government funded children. I live in Billingshurst with my husband, 2 children and our small dog. I enjoy looking after children, creating spaces for them to learn and grow.
We have a large garden which I plan on getting the children outside in the mud kitchen and helping me tend to all my plants. I also enjoy baking and crafting so we will be making lots of tasty treats and getting messy! I live right next to a park so we have the perfect opportunity to get outside and play.
I am a National Trust member and will be purchasing Fishers Farm passes when I become a minder :) Any questions, please don't hesitate to message me!
My Experience
I have 2 children aged 10 & 7 which I was fortunate to be at home with them until they both attended school. I learnt a lot in those years about how children learn and play.
When they went off to school, I then took on a Teaching Assistant job and supported children in school with their learning. I am a level 3 qualified TA.
I have also undergone various courses to become a childminder including a level 3 qualification for home-based childcare, a Designated Safeguarding Lead course and a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid course.
I plan to keep adding more courses to continue learning in this career choice.
