About Me
I have three older children of my own ( one with SEN ) I have over fifteen years experience of working within education as Learning Support for mainstream and SEN children. Alongside this I have my own business providing tuition of English and Maths for children aged 4-12. I have experience of primary and middle school settings. I excel at phonics and helping with the basics to get a child interested in learning. I have recently moved away from working within a school to focus of more tutoring and 121 tailored support. I will also provide support for children who are being home schooled. I am kind, patient and adapt my approach to the needs of every child. I like to make my sessions as much fun for the child as possible whilst they learn.
My Experience
15 years of working in mainstream education. I have worked closely with children with SEND needs or anxiety when it comes to school. I am CRB enhanced checked alongside 15 years of regular training ( ADHD, Autism, Speech & Language within KS1 & KS2 ) Before working in a school I was an HR director but changed direction when I had my own children.
My Qualifications
Ba Hons English Literature & Linguistics. 3 A Levels & 9 GCSEs including Maths & English.
My Availability
Currently I am very flexible as long as it works around my other bookings.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £37.00 per hour
Tutoring - 37.00 per hour, if booking a block of hours I will discount depending on the needs of the child.
Babysitting - £17.00
