Part Time Nanny Job in Towcester
About Me
I’m a stay-at-home mum to two lovely children. My daughter is five years old and home educated, and I also have a six-month-old baby.
We’re a friendly, relaxed family and enjoy spending lots of time together. My daughter is bright, curious and playful, and loves getting involved in different activities. As she is home educated, we do lots of learning through play and everyday experiences. At the moment, we’re focusing on numbers and the alphabet, and I’m also teaching her French. I enjoy finding fun and creative ways to make learning interesting and part of our everyday life.
We enjoy getting out and about as a family, particularly during the warmer months. We love visiting farms, parks, splash pads, museums and other family-friendly places. My daughter also enjoys her different activities, including cooking and ballet.
I’m hoping to find someone who will become a trusted and valued part of our family. It’s important to me that my children are cared for by someone warm, kind, patient and genuinely enjoys spending time with them. I’d love for my daughter to build a lovely bond with the right person and for childcare to feel relaxed, positive and enjoyable for everyone.
Outside of family life, I enjoy cooking, gardening and travelling.
My Requirements
I’m mainly looking for some part-time help during term time, particularly around our busier days. I’m open to discussing the exact hours with the right person.
At the moment, Mondays are quite busy for us. We leave the house at around 11am for my daughter’s cooking class, and it would be really helpful to have someone who could look after the baby while I take my daughter to her class. Having that one-to-one time with my daughter would be lovely, without needing to bring the baby along.
Afterwards, I take my baby to a class from approximately 12:40–2:40pm which my daughter is unable to attend. This is the main reason I’m looking for childcare, as I need someone to look after my daughter while I’m out with the baby.
Ideally, I’d love some support through until around 4pm. This would give my daughter some time to play, have lunch and do some activities, while also giving me a little time to have lunch and recharge after a busy morning. It would also be helpful to have another pair of hands with the children before we head out again for ballet.
I really enjoy taking my daughter to ballet myself, so I would continue to do this and take the baby with me.
There may be a change to our routine from January, when the baby’s class is potentially moving to Wednesday afternoons at the same time. My daughter’s Monday activities will remain the same, so I’m hoping to find someone who may be able to offer some flexibility as our routine develops.
My daughter is home educated and enjoys learning through play, crafts, games, reading and exploring new things. I’m also teaching her French, so someone who enjoys engaging with children and encouraging their curiosity would be wonderful.
Most importantly, I’m hoping to find someone warm, patient and dependable who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I’d love to find someone who can build a lovely relationship with my daughter and become a familiar and trusted part of our family.
