About Me
Hello, I am the heart behind Natural Learners Childcare.
Now returning back to childminding again, with over 25 years of experience in childcare and a Level 5 qualification as an Early Years Lead Practitioner.
I enjoy inspiring children through hands-on learning, creativity and outdoor exploration. As I return to childminding, I am creating a calm, nurturing environment where children can learn through everyday experiences while being cared for in small groups that allow for individual attention. I’m also passionate about helping children understand sustainability and how we can care for the natural world around us. Outside of work, I enjoy art projects, gardening, DIY, walking and swimming.
I believe childhood should feel simple and unhurried — where learning happens naturally through play, connection and everyday life.
I’m so looking forward to welcoming families into a space where children feel safe, valued and free to explore at their own pace.
My Experience
My Experience in Childcare
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of early years and school settings, supporting children at different stages of their development.
My years of experience include working as a Nursery Practitioner in a private day nursery, as an After School Care Assistant in an elite private girls’ school, a Nursery Assistant within primary schools and a SEND Supervisor supporting children during the school day.
These roles have given me valuable insight into children’s learning, development and wellbeing, and have strengthened my passion for providing calm, nurturing care where every child feels supported and valued.
Returning to childminding, I’m excited to bring this experience into a small, nurturing environment where children can learn, explore and grow at their own pace.
