About Me
***Awaiting my Pre-registration visit from Ofsted***
Hellooo and welcome to Lottie’s Little Loves Childminding!
My name is Charlotte, and I live in Upper Hale, Farnham, with my partner and our little girl, who is nearly two years old. Before moving into childcare, I worked as cabin crew for eight years. While I loved the experience, I wanted a more rewarding and family-focused career, so I began working at a nursery in 2023. During this time, I completed my Level 3 qualification in Childcare and gained valuable experience caring for and supporting young children.
Becoming a mum has made me even more passionate about childcare, and I truly understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and comfortable with the person looking after their child.
We are very lucky to live right next to Hale Recreation Ground and close to Farnham Park, which gives us wonderful opportunities for fresh air, walks, and fun days out exploring nature. We also have our own garden, where children can play, explore, and enjoy outdoor activities. I plan to attend local toddler groups and outings, so children can socialise, play, and enjoy new experiences together.
At home, we have a very friendly indoor cat called Coconut (Coco for short). Watching my little girl and Coco grow up together and form such a sweet friendship has been so special. We also have two outdoor rabbits. Animals play a surprisingly big role in children’s development they help with emotional, social, cognitive, and physical growth and also teach children a sense of responsibility.
I enjoy spending time singing, dancing, and being silly with the children, while providing engaging, fun, and creative activities that support their development and confidence all while making sure they’re always having fun.
My aim is to create a warm, happy, home-from-home environment where children feel safe and free to explore, play, and learn at their own pace.
I will also be using a dedicated app to communicate with parents, providing live, up-to-date updates and photos so you can stay connected with your child throughout the day.
I am really excited to begin my journey as a childminder and look forward to welcoming little ones to my happy little setting.
