Éabha is nearly 4.5 years old and Lorcan is 21 months old.
Éabha is at preschool nursery 8.45am - 3.15pm Monday to Friday and Lorcan is looked after by our current nanny. Our nanny does the school pick up five days a week.
Éabha is full of energy and intelligence. She loves art, dancing and role playing with her toys. She is deeply inquisitive and also sensitive and knows how to get what she wants! She is kind and needs to be challenged so as not to be bored.
Lorcan is a crazy energy toddler boy who needs to climb on everything and run around like a lunatic. He has a busy schedule - Forest School on Mondays, gymnastics on Wednesdays, Swimming on Thursdays and likes visits to the library and additional classes and playdates.
They both enjoy being entertained and engaged whether through reading or drawing or general involved play. They love playing outside and we have great playgrounds in the surrounding area they both enjoy. They love visits to the farm - Mudchute and Surrey Quays Farms are also close.
They are both naturally inquisitive and likes to work out tasks and copy what you are doing be it cooking, cleaning, washing etc
The things that are important to you as a family
Things that are important to us as a family are that myself and my partner can run our businesses successfully ensuring we are not stressed and ipso facto can spend more quality time with our children as we're not having to work late / at weekends. A nanny will form an essential part of our daily work week ensuring we can run our companies.
It is also important that Lorcan is stimulated and kept busy during the day as he has lots of energy and we want a nanny who can keep up with him and challenge him too.
We would love a nanny who is a good cook and knows about healthy nutrition for children and can make dinner for the children when back from school pick up and lunch for Lorcan in the day.

We live in SE10 and there are many great things to do nearby. There is a soft play nearby we use a lot called Wavelengths, Deptford High Street - Tots in London is a great role play cafe, Greenwich Park with the two great playgrounds there The Cove and the big main playground (currently closed until sometime in Spring), The Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark etc.
We are relatively close to Canary Wharf that has lots of shops and things to do.
The classes Lorcan attends are in Greenwich, Surrey Quays and Lewisham so confidence travelling around on public transport is a must.
Local transport links
Nearest DLR station is Deptford Bridge which is a four minute walk.
Greenwich Station with Overground Trains and DLR is a seven minute walk.
Nearest buses are 177 which is at the end of our road and goes directly to Éabha’s school.

Babysitting may be a couple of times a month, occasionally we will require over-time if meetings are overrunning.
The traits and interests you would prefer your nanny to have
A good sense of humour is a must! We don't take life too seriously and need someone who is not highly strung.
Punctuality is a must as I can't abide lateness. Someone who is organised and can help make our lives smoother is a must too.
We both love food & drink so a foodie always helps and loves travel too as there is potential to come with us on holidays too.
We need someone who is confident, energetic and proactive in finding activities for Lorcan & Éabha to do, especially in the school holidays. Someone with a good knowledge and network in the local area is a bonus.
