About Me

We are a friendly family of five, with three children aged 8, 6 and 11 months old.

My Requirements

Live Out Nanny
Part Time Nanny

Ensuring the safety of the children at all times, including securing the youngest in
the buggy, ensuring road safety and keeping them in a safe environment.
Caring for and stimulating their respective social, emotional, physical and
intellectual development including key milestones, such as potty training for the
youngest.
Ensuring their physical wellbeing by maintaining good practice in hygiene, washing
and bathing the baby as necessary. , encouraging independent age appropriate skills,
good dental health practices, ensuring that their general presentation is
maintained.
Helping to develop and maintain age- appropriate levels of discipline to enhance
understanding of expectations in social interaction.
Preparing, serving and cleaning away breakfast, lunch and dinner, as appropriate, for
the children.
Planning menus, preparing and cooking food which reflects a balanced home cooked
diet. Where appropriate engaging the children in this process.
Helping develop, plan and maintain an age appropriate sleep routine for the baby.
Taking and collecting the children to and from school, activities and relevant groups
safely and on time (as required). The older boys attend a local school within walking
distance.
Ensuring parents know in advance of any changes to planned activities and in
particular those that require signed permission or incur a financial outlay.
Where appropriate, liaising with staff at school or group settings and providing
parents with any messages or feedback from teachers or others in respect of the
children.
Ensure that the children have clean clothes on and place any laundry into the
washing machine. If a full wash or time-dependent (school uniform), turn the
washing machine on (and dryer if timely to do so).
Offering planned stimulating, fun activities which are age appropriate to the children
so they thrive as happy, content and confident individuals. This will include
researching local activities including groups, museums, parks etc and similarly
planning fun at home such as singing, playing, drawing, arts and crafts.
Any medication should only be administered after consent from parents.
Giving notice of any expenses that are anticipated one day in advance (for instance
eating out, group attendance etc). To keep track of expenses so the float can be
kept at the appropriate level.
Ensuring regular feedback to parents about activities, achievements and overall
development.

HOUSEHOLD DUTIES
Ensuring crockery and cutlery used during the day is placed in the dishwasher and
where there is a full load putting items away when cycle is completed.
Where appropriate general tidying up of rooms used during each day including,
kitchen, bathroom/toilet and living room.
Identifying the need to replenish specific items including nappies, bread, cereal,
milk, washing powder etc. Where , updating creative play resources.
Where appropriate babysitting and weekend arrangement may be requested from time to
time but will be discussed and agreed with advance notice. Attendance at weekend events
or family holidays will not be required.
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of three professional references to be checked and verified. Experience of tailored
educational and developmental play eg Montessori, Forest School.
QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant Childcare certificates. Certification in CPR and First Aid, DBS check, Ofsted registration Where applicable
