About Me

Hello, I’m Genevieve and live in Coggeshall with my husband, Johnny.

We are expecting our first child (a baby boy) in July and have been advised to start researching childcare early due to waiting lists and high demand.

I plan to take around a year of maternity leave before returning to work, so we would likely be looking for childcare from around June 2027 for approximately 3–4 days a week. We will be able to confirm exact days closer to the time.

Aside from safety, our main priority for our child will be their happiness and wellbeing. We would love to find someone they feel comfortable with and who can offer a warm, loving, home-from-home environment.

We’re a friendly and relaxed couple and are hoping to build a good relationship with whoever cares for our little one. As first-time parents, we would also really value your experience and guidance.

My Requirements

Registered Childminder
Live Out Nanny
Nursery

We are looking for childcare on the days that I will be working which involve 12 hour shifts in Chelmsford.
My rota is usually confirmed a couple of months in advance, however am happy to discuss arranging more consistent working days where possible if that helps with childcare planning.
My husband Johnny works Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00. He works in Leiston on Mondays and Tuesdays, and works from home for the remainder of the week. Johnny will therefore most likely be the parent to perform drop offs and pick ups.

It is not essential (as you may still be the perfect person!), however it would be convenient if childcare could be available outside of school term times. I regularly visit my family in Dublin and flight prices tend to increase significantly during school holidays. We hope to take baby to see family during my annual leave days where possible and give you notice of these dates as soon as possible.
We really value the work of childminders and hope to build a positive and respectful relationship with whoever cares for our child.
