My Experience

I work with children daily at a school, supporting them with early language skills using phonics programmes, practice physical skills such as fine and gross motor skills and develop techniques to aid emotional regulation. This includes mindfulness strategies such as box and finger breathing.

I began my career babysitting, looking after a six month old baby four days a week. I was responsible for weaning, nappy changes and went on daily walks to provide the child with enriching experiences outside of the house.

I have also worked as a support worker for children with SEND needs, assisting them with arts and sports activities during summer holidays. I pride myself on my ability to foster a supportive environment that is inclusive for all children, no matter their background or circumstances.

My Qualifications

In terms of relevant qualifications, I have a full enhanced DBS check that is up to date and am working towards a PGCE in Primary education.

My Availability

I am available most evenings after school and I can do weekends also, with notice.
