My Summary

My Experience

I have professional experience working with children as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school and previously in a SEN therapeutic school. Through my work I support children with a range of needs, helping with learning, emotional support, daily routines and have an understanding that every type of behaviour is a form of communication. I have also grown up around children as I have a large family including 7 nieces and nephews. Additionally, my parents have fostered children of different ages for 10 years so I’m very comfortable caring for children. I’m confident supervising, playing, helping with homework, preparing meals and ensuring children are safe and well looked after.

My Qualifications

Due to my experience of working in schools I have completed a range of e-learning courses such as training in KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education), a First Aid course including Anaphylaxis training, PREVENT and safeguarding. My work experience has given me strong safeguarding knowledge and experience supporting children with different needs. I also have a distinction in GCSE and A-Level health and social care which I thoroughly enjoyed!

My Availability

I am available mainly on weekends and weekday afternoons and evenings. I am happy to help with after-school care, evening babysitting and weekend babysitting. I can be flexible depending on the family’s needs, so feel free to get in touch to discuss times.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My babysitting rate is flexible depending on the hours, number of children and duties required. I’m happy to discuss and agree on a fair rate with families.
