About Me

I’ve been working with children for around 22 years and it’s something I genuinely love. I started my career as a nursery nurse, then worked as a 1:1 special needs assistant, before moving into nannying. I currently work as a teaching assistant in a school. While I enjoy my job, I’m now looking to return to a role that focuses more on caring for and supporting children in a family setting.

I’m also a mum to three children aged 8, 13 and 16, so I understand family life from both a professional and personal perspective. Because of this, I’m ideally looking for a term-time position.

I have experience with children from newborn through to teenagers and feel very comfortable supporting them through all the different stages as they grow. I love creating a warm, safe and fun environment where children feel happy, supported and able to be themselves.

I enjoy planning activities that keep children engaged, whether that’s arts and crafts, outdoor play, trips to the park, baking, reading stories or helping with homework. I’m patient, caring and reliable, and I always aim to build a positive relationship with both the children I care for and their families.

I’m looking for a welcoming family where I can provide a caring, supportive environment for their children and become a trusted part of their routine.
