My Requirements

Looking for a friendly, reliable person to spend time with my son at home while I work from home.

My son is 9 years old and home educated. He has autism and global developmental delay. He is verbal but not conversational. Special needs experience is not required (though it is welcome), but I am looking for someone who is comfortable and confident around an atypical child.

The role would involve keeping him company for about an hour at a time on a couple of days each week, doing simple activities such as puzzles, stickers, looking at books, and listening to music.

If willing, there may also be opportunities to help with minor kitchen tasks from time to time, though this is not essential and the main focus is spending time with my son.
