Building trusting relationships with both children and their families is very important to me. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident about who is caring for their child, and I always strive to provide the highest level of care and attention.
Being part of a child’s early years is incredibly special, and I’m proud to help create positive experiences and happy memories along the way.
My Experience
I have two years of hands-on experience working in a nursery, where I cared for and supported children aged 6 months to 4 years old. During this time, I gained valuable experience helping children grow, learn, and develop through play, daily routines, and engaging activities suited to their age and stage of development.
Working with such a wide age range has helped me understand how each child develops differently, from supporting babies with their early milestones to helping toddlers and preschoolers build confidence, communication, and independence.
Alongside my professional experience, I also regularly care for my younger cousins. This has given me even more practical experience in supporting children in a family setting, helping with activities, playtime, and daily care.
These experiences have strengthened my passion for working with children and supporting them in a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where they can thrive.
My Qualifications
Paediatric First Aid Certified – Trained to respond quickly and safely in emergency situations involving infants and young children.
Safeguarding Training – Knowledge and understanding of how to protect children and ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times.
Level 3 NVQ in Childcare – Currently awaiting final results.
