About Me

?Hi, I'm Jay; a Senior Registered Midwife, full spectrum Doula, (pregnancy, birth and postnatal doula) and antenatal teacher based in South London.
I've been a registered Midwife since 2018, supporting over 500 families through pregnancy, birth and the early weeks of parenthood. In 2022 I began working as a Doula, bringing everything I'd learned in the NHS (and everything the NHS couldn't always offer) into a more personal, continuous model of care.
What makes my approach different is the combination of genuine clinical knowledge with a deeply holistic, physiological outlook. I believe in the power of the body to birth, and I support families to feel informed, prepared and more confident within themselves. I'm a calm presence in the hospital or at home. People often tell me they feel able to share things with me they haven't said to anyone else, and that being with me helps them feel safe.
I offer birth doula support, postnatal doula support, and antenatal classes across South London; including but not limited to Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Southwark, Wandsworth, Croydon, Wimbledon and surrounding areas. I also support families further afield across London and the UK.
